When creating brochures and other pieces that have interior pages, the same rules about channels and rounded corners apply. Elements should not touch and at least one corner of each element should be rounded, keeping in mind that when rounding more than one corner, opposite — not adjacent — corners of the element should be rounded.
The look should be clean and airy, incorporating a balanced combination of negative space with color blocks and photography. Type is to be treated in very simple column structures with easily identifiable headings and subheadings. Structuring your interior page layout in this fashion facilitates the reading experience, so it is preferred that you avoid using too much copy when possible.
